My experience doing some Black smith work!

On Monday we went to our local blacksmith and got to try out being a black smith our self. My friend Emily from https://emilywainwright20.edublogs.org/

We made garden stakes and hooks for school!

100 wc week #33

Elsie was walking along a narrow path and she found an old concrete tower covered in ivy. Within an hour she had cleared it. Her little brother Sam came along and told her dinner was ready, so she left her work. That night she had a dream about what it was. First she thought that it was a tower, but then she thought it was a well or something like that. In the morning she went out to investigate. Elsie thought she heard a meow, but she shock her head in disbelief. Elsie looked inside and saw a adorable kitten.

Wagon Wheel song by Darius Rucker

Headin’ down south to the land of the pines
I’m thumbin’ my way into North Caroline
Starin’ up the road and pray to God I see headlights

I made it down the coast in seventeen hours
Pickin’ me a bouquet of dogwood flowers
And I’m a-hopin’ for Raleigh, I can see my baby tonight

So, rock me mama like a wagon wheel
Rock me mama any way you feel
Hey… mama rock me
Rock me mama like the wind and the rain
Rock me mama like a southbound train
Hey… mama rock me

Runnin’ from the cold up in New England
I was born to be a fiddler in an old time string band
My baby plays a guitar, I pick a banjo now
Oh, north country winters keep a-gettin’ me down
Lost my money playin’ poker, so I had to leave town
But I ain’t a-turnin’ back to livin’ that old life no more
So, rock me mama like a wagon wheel
Rock me mama any way you feel
Hey… mama rock me
Yeah, rock me mama like the wind and the rain
Rock me mama like a southbound train
Hey… mama rock me
Walkin’ to the south out of Roanoke
I caught a trucker out of Philly, had a nice long toke
But he’s a-headin’ west from the Cumberland Gap
To Johnson City, Tennessee
And I gotta get a move on before the sun
I hear my baby callin’ my name and I know that she’s the only one
And if I died in Raleigh, at least I will die free
So, rock me mama like a wagon wheel
Rock me mama any way you feel
Hey… mama rock me
Oh, rock me mama like the wind and the rain
Rock me mama like a southbound train
Hey… mama rock me
So, rock me mama like a wagon wheel
Rock me mama any way you feel (oh, I wanna feel)
Hey… mama rock me
Rock me mama like the wind and the rain
Rock me mama like a southbound train
Hey… mama rock me

100wc week 30

Margret walked to school, her parents were partly drunk from a party last night, so she had to look after her siblings. She looked up and saw her best friend,Chris standing there waiting for her. She had brown choppy hair held back by a navy bandanna. they walked inside and heard a scream, suddenly the bell rung. “what was that scream?” asked Margret. “I don’t know, lets go to class” said Chris. As they walked they heard someone say no, “Did that sound like a meow to you?” Asked Chris. “Arhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh” Their screams echoed. As suddenly, darkness enveloped the room.
